Atlas Group is an independent, privately owned Connecticut C corporation with its legal address at 396 Danbury Road, Second Floor, Wilton, Connecticut 06897.
History
Atlas Group was founded in 1994 in Connecticut by three EMI Music IT executives. EMI Music IT had worked closely to develop international voice and data networks with British Telecom in advance of Newco/ Concert’s formation. Atlas Group’s initial competence was in helping global corporations build international networks from the new carrier partnerships in the mid-1990’s. In 1996, we moved the main office from Wilton, Connecticut to Kennebunk, Maine, and subsequently to Biddeford, Maine.
Prior to the new millennium, Atlas Group worked with clients to prepare for Y2K through disaster planning, process development and upgrades. Atlas Group migrated to information security services as a result of our work on Information Protection Plans, vulnerability assessments and virtual private networks for large corporations. Engagements since 2004 have focused on competitive RFP procurements, IT management, and telecommunications site optimization.
Client Communication Team
Each client is assigned a Client Program Manager(CPM). The CPM is responsible for providing single point of contact communications with client staff, providing Atlas Group information, listening to client concerns and monitoring Atlas Group quality.
Management
Atlas Group relies heavily on its Management Team and the Project Management Office to ensure Atlas Group-to-client transparency and effective transferral of information.
