Tracy Gardner, Vice President Business Development

Tracy Gardner began her tenure with Atlas Group in March 2003 as Vice President of business development. Tracy attended the University of New Hampshire where she graduated with a BA in political science and a BS in business administration. Upon graduation she began her sales career with Unionmutual in the Washington D.C. and Virginia territory. During her 18 years with Unum Tracy held various sales and sales management positions. In addition she was extremely active in the product development and marketing areas particularly in the development and launch of “Flexible Benefits,” a ground breaking cafeteria type program.

In 1998 Tracy was hired by Guarantee life as a Regional Sales VP to open up the Northeast market. The territory spanned from Maine to Washington DC and now successfully supports many sales offices. Tracy’s expertise in Long Term Disability was instrumental in developing Guarantee Life’s latest generation of disability contracts.

At Atlas Group Tracy is involved in product development, business operations as well as sales and marketing direction.

John Sullivan, Chief Technology Officer

John Sullivan joined Atlas Group as Chief Technology Officer in 2003. He attended University of Rochester in NY and completed his BA at Ambassador College in Pasadena, CA. John’s career has varied from working in his family’s business, Triple S Materials Corp., NY, NY for 8 years after graduation to Director, General Manager and President of small computer based companies in ME to Sr. Program Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield, S. Portland, ME and Operations Manager at J Walter Thompson, NY. In 1999 he returned to ME to serve as CTO and member of the board of directors for Nexus Management where he was responsible for delivery of technical products to clients. His creative strategy helped transform the IT outsourcing company through innovative use of technology and creative organizational structure. Since 2003, John has been responsible for business strategy input and advanced technical consulting involving security, open source software applications and Internet based/IP network engineering and operations.

Mark Tuttle, President

Mark Tuttle founded Atlas Group in 1995. Upon completion of his B.A. at Dartmouth, he went on to receive his B.E. at Thayer School of Engineering. Mark started his career as Field Engineer at MCC Powers in Boston, MA., moved on to Sales Engineer at Johnson Controls in Boston, held several positions at Northern Telecom in Massachusetts and Maine and continued gaining experience as Director of Global Voice Services for EMI Music, New York. In 1995 he turned his attention to establishing Atlas Group where he has managed projects in a wide range of telecom competitive procurements, Global MPLS WAN designs, IP network design, needs analysis and high level process development. He is currently responsible for consulting operations and for internal staff functions including finance, legal, marketing/sales and personnel.
