Atlas Group's New England, New York, and California offices leverage our Biddeford, Maine operations center to deliver excellent and unique project based solutions.

Gentle Telecom Expense Management (TEM)

Atlas Group's Gentle TEM allows businesses to reduce telecommunications costs(voice, data, and wireless) by 20-50% while increasing transparency.  Participating business units can be standalone companies, corporate subsidiaries, or departments in a large enterprise.  Typically, the business units correspond to corporate accounting footprints.  Therefore, any capital expense needed is spent by the same business unit that reaps the savings.

Atlas Group works with each business unit to estimate the current expense, the savings potential, the greatest payback areas, and any capital expense needed.  The resulting cost reduction investment options are clear cut with defined payback terms.  Gentle TEM starts small in a manual process mode to achieve the initial savings.

Benefits

By taking a bottom-up manual to automated approach, Gentle TEM offers the following unique benefits:
  • Capital expense implementation cost are applied to the same business unit who reaps the benefits;
  • Start-up costs to realize initial savings are low.  There is no software to buy before starting.
  • The workload on client staff is minimal since Atlas experts perform most of the work;
  • The "low hanging fruit" approach means that Atlas can provide a quick start and quick savings;
  • The discrete, incremental activity approach means that clients have manximum decision-making control with each step of the process;
  • The Gentle TEM is scalable from 20 to 20,000 employees and from domestic to international scope.
Gentle TEM is particularly effective in situations where corporate IT established global vendor agreements but local subsidiaries configure and pay for site telecom.

Fast track: Monthly bill review activities are started immediately to create an inventory, base line cost, invoice analysis, and savings worksheet as quickly as possible.  Specific savings recommendations can be provided to you within thirty(30) days of receipt of your existing invoices, accounts payable report, and vendor contracts.

Pre-sales analysis track: Atlas Group will work with prospective clients at no charge to develop estimates for:

    • Potential cost avoidance savings;
    • Estimated capital expense costs; and the
    • Projected payback period.
This work usually takes two to six weeks to complete and delivers a proposal that identifies the company's areas with the greatest savings opportunities along with the information listed above.
