Remote Server Management

  • Monitoring. Key metrics such as disk space availability and CPU usage are continuously monitored and tracked, along with connectivity, and availability of individual services on each server.
  • Rapid Response. Our professionals respond immediately to system outages within a timeframe defined in your service level agreement. If desired, this response time can be varied for each server (depending upon the criticality of each) for maximum cost-effectiveness.
  • Problem Isolation and Resolution. Regular reviews of server logs and performance metrics allow efficient and timely troubleshooting.
  • Communication. Nexus provides customized reports detailing performance data and assisting in trend analysis.
    Maintenance. As upgrades and patches become available for your software, we first test to ensure integrity, and then apply them as appropriate.

Network Monitoring and Notification Service

  • Monitoring. We constantly monitor critical information for all servers and network devices, checking metrics such as connectivity, CPU utilization, disk space consumption, DNS lookups, and POP3 and SMTP.
  • Rapid Response. We respond as soon as possible to system outages based upon a predefined timeframe in your service level agreement.
  • Troubleshooting. Ongoing reviews of collected data allow timely problem identification, isolation and resolution
    Communication. Atlas Group provides customized Monitoring System reports that provide historical data used to increase performance and plan for growth.
  • Notification. NMS can send alerts via pager, SMS, and email, with a designated set of procedures used to factor out false positives.

    Security: Network Monitor Service
  • Internet Downloads and Content. We prevent the inadvertent downloading of harmful viruses from the Internet by scanning all files prior to download. In addition, this service allows you to filter specific content that is being viewed across your network.
  • Email. Our Network Security Monitor service automatically traps SMTP traffic and disables all attached viruses, preventing the possibility of mass company-wide virus attacks through your email system.
  • Network Scanning. Our network scanning service monitors the status of every component on your network and determines the integrity of every port. Each time your network is scanned, the results are compared to the results of the prior scan, and any variance in integrity is identified. Scheduled reports pinpoint potential areas of weakness and provide recommendations for solving the problem.
  • Denial of Service and Advanced Traffic Management. When your network is bombarded with useless messages and activity, we can halt service and fix the problem, avoiding any further impact to productivity.

Security: PC Lifecycle Management Service

  • Automated Distribution. PCLM automatically deploys, manages and updates key business applications. This is particularly pertinent for security patches, eg from Microsoft, when anti-virus protection depends upon every workstation being known to have the latest update.
  • Asset Management. Due to the centralized nature of this service, we enable easy and flexible software compliance and reporting, as well as hardware inventory.
  • OS Migrations. PCLM provides unattended, fast and reliable migrations to the latest operating systems, including True Installations with the option for drag and drop imaging.
  • Packaging. Our packaging capability is fast and efficient, drastically cutting SMS packaging time.
  • Disaster Recovery. PCLM allows administrators to restore end user data and settings with the simple click of a mouse. This means that OS rebuilds can be achieved with minimal input from technicians – a few seconds to start the process, and the rest of the rebuild will take place unattended, with key features such as My Favorites being restored as part of the build.

Security: Email and Virus Cleaning Service

  • Protection. Beyond protecting against known viruses, we block common virus carriers, such as email with embedded scripts, to protect against infections that have not yet made it to the antivirus signatures.
  • Intelligence. Our self-learning spam filter is continuously tuned by known spam and feedback from users.
  • Flexibility. Our system is configurable with multiple antivirus engines to avoid monoculture. We can also deliver spam to a central mailbox, or delete it straight away.
  • Efficiency. We provide a white list to ensure mail from clients and business partners is always delivered.
